The Construction Education Foundation of Delaware, Inc. is an educational, recruitment, and research foundation. The foundation raises funds to help the construction industry’s educational and training needs by issuing grants to vocational schools or construction related organizations (Job Corps, Project New Start, Delaware Skills Center, etc.) that meet specified criteria and scholarships to qualified construction education students. Contributions to CEFD will be distributed at the discretion of the Board of Trustees under the following two categories: 50% of total contributions will be designated for funding of Construction scholarships; and 50% of total contributions will be designated for other construction education purposes. The scholarship is presented annually to a graduating vo-tech student who is a member of the ABC Student Chapter in his/her school or a dependent of an ABC Delaware member company employee who is entering a post-secondary institution studying in a construction-relation field.
