ABC signs new agreement with OSHA

ABC Delaware and The Wilmington Area Office of OSHA, which covers the entire State of Delaware, have signed a new agreement entitled the Ambassador Program.

“The purpose of the agreement is to continue to work together to improve workplace health and safety by sharing information, guidance and access to training resources that address occupational hazards and promote understanding of the rights of workers as well as the responsibilities of employers,” said Dalia Nichols, Acting Area Director. “We are pleased to continue this relationship with ABC and its member companies.”

The official signing ceremony was held during the ABC Annual Chapter Awards dinner on May 9, when ABC members where presented with the National STEP awards promoting safety, health & wellness.

Witnessing the signing between Nichols and ABC President Ed Capodanno were ABC Board Chairman Brian Martinenza and Safety Committee Co-Chairs Michele Garcia and Nick Mancini.
